Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 Batting is a blend of 80% Long Staple Cotton, 20% Polyester. The combination of these fibers creates a strong, long wearing batt and is very easy to work with, both hand and machine quilting. The light needle punch and soft resin provides stability to the fibers and prevents the polyester from bearding. Stitch as close as 1/4" apart for a very flat look and as far as 3 1/2" apart for a slight amount of loft.
What Size Do I Need?
Hobbs batting comes in the following sizes. To help our customers get as close to the exact size they need, The Stitching Depot Quilt Shop stocks rolls of batting sold by the yard. Black and White Batting is not available in 45" or 120" rolls, therefore we sell Crib and King sizes by the package.
